Bruce If you can find a copy of the Oct.1950 Hot Rod Mag. there is a picture of Howard Johansens Marmon V-16 powered coupe. It ran 149 mph at a Russetta Lakse meet. Not enough to beat the standing record of the Pierson Coupe whos record was 145 mph. Records were two ways on the early lakes days.Thought you would like to know. Glen |
