John,

The people at Lagoon have seen every ruse in the book. You have to buy a
ticket at the gate ... no pre-sold admissions, they stamp your hand when you
go out and you need your ticket from that day and the stamp to get back in.
They only have a price break for babes in arms and I can't see how two of
you carrying him would qualify. You might try a catapult and try to get him
over the fence that way ... most of the less watched area is where the zoo
is located and I wonder if he would be allowed out of there ... or you could
claim he fell off the Ferris wheel ... does he bounce well? Of course you
and Joe would need honest faces like he has to pull of any stunt anyway.

You pass within a mile of Chapman Cylinder Heads on the way out there and if
I were showing you around we'd never make it as far as Lagoon ... just too
much to see on the way there. I have an invite to visit an incredible auto
collection just North of Lagoon a few miles but have never been able to go
on the right day when the owner was there. Given a choice of seeing the car
again that won the Meadowbrook Hall Concours d' Elegance or going to Lagoon,
not even close! I might have had a harder time deciding fifty years ago.
