dial-a-jet

List, I got a Kinser dial-a-jet which has chambers for 8 jets. About what 
size jets would I need for a 301 chevy on gas. Also how do you keep the gas 
lines out of the inside of the car when you use one of these? If I mount it 
on the dash the fuel lines would come thru the fire wall which can"t be good. 
Do people make some kind of extension and run this rod thru the fire wall to 
operate the dial-a-jet?
