I'm not spreading this as a rumor, but tossing out a hypothetical. I
was told that Dale had a habit of loosening his belts near the end of
long races such as Dayona. This came from my neighbor so I have no
reason to know that he knows anything.
But if the belts were loosened quite a bit, could this not cause it to
split? Or would they hold under the sudden jolt and just do damage to
the persons body?
