Hello
I have been lurking for a couple of months and since
the lurkers seem to be coming out of the woodwork here
I am... LOL..
I will go back to just reading because I am only a
spectator. I do not have a race car, or race
motorcyle. I have never been to a LSR event, although
I plan to go to Bonneville some day.
I grew up in Southern California in the 50's and 60's
so I actually understand what some of you are talking
about. I did help a friend at Lions Drag strip when
it was running. I have pitted for a few racers over
the years. I have been involved mainly with Speedway
Motorcyle Racing although I was on the Formula Ford
circuit in Europe for 2 years (long ago) and a few
other types of races. Just no LSR stuff yet.
I really enjoy reading what all of you are doing and
how you go about building a LSR vehicle. It is really
fascinating.
