Inspection is to insure that the car is meets the safety requirements. If
the inspector recognizes a gross violation of class rules he will point it
out to you, but it is up to the contestant to enter the car in the right
class. At impound for record certification the car has to be certified as
meeting the class requirements. The reason for this is, we have lots of
safety inspectors but only a few class chairmen.
