I was probably there as I was racing at Bee Line at the time........Was this the
Hopper Automotive dragster?  It really is amazing at the lack of safety 
equipment
both required and available back then.........'Course we were indestructable, so
we thought. It was everyone else that was getting hurt. Have to agree with you 
on
this one, a SFI 20 is only a couple of bucks more & it could save your skin
(literally).
