Dick J.,
My loaded trailer weighs 11,000 pounds so 500 obviously would not work for
me. I of course use a load leveling hitch and sway bar on this rig and try
to go at least 10% on the tongue. I like using a percentage rather than a
flat number since the trailer weights vary so much.
