. It's was my hope that some of the more experienced folks like
you...would do the same.... so we could get a look at what everyone actually
does to run thier car.....

I noticed that on both Keith & Jim's list there is no provision to run the
trans and rear end.
We always put the car on jack stands, run each gear to make sure we have all
of them. After high gear put the trans in neutral, while the tires are still
spinning stab the brake pedal and see if the wheels stop, this is a good test
for brakes.
This procedure will warm the rearend and trans fluids prior to a run. Plus all
the good rump, rump sounds!!!!!!!!!!!!. I especially like to rap the throttle
to see how many tools, diet coke cans, shop clothes, etc. I can blow around
the pit area.
