The question about having a centerline in the salt is intriguing as to
it's purpose and the effect. In keeping the bikers with thier head down
going in the right direction seems to be a good idea, then the
subsuquent "overuse" of that centerline because everyone will follow it
arguement makes sense also. Now what interests me is what the line is
made of?Lots of ideas about ecologically benign substances but they
sound like the would be water based. Really bad for the salt and the
course. I assume (that will get me in trouble) that oil is used, so it
won't dissolve the salt.if a water based substance is used, we would be
dissolving the salt and making a trench to follow or 2 trenches to stay
in-between marking the course. Any chemists out there with some ideas?
