Hey Malcolm... I'm personally really glad you came.... I learned alot about
your passion for the sport of Land speed racing.... 

They have more folks over there that are into the hobby that Don't race
then you would believe... seriously Malcolm's Speed Record club has over
300 members... these are folks that simply sit around bench racing old
records and putting on ONE car events for new ones.... It's EXTREMELY
expensive.... 8 grand to run one a one car deal.... and they do this simply
to attempt records....  

To do this they use the FIA as a sanctioning body.... Hence they uphold
that body and it's established procedures as the right way of doing
business....  it's what they know ... and honestly I think Malcolm got a
really good taste of what it's like to race at a ECTA/SCTA style event with
Lots of folks running for a record.... The exchange of information and
opportunity to see a smaller event then Speedweek was wonderful.... can't
wait to see What the Speed record club does in the future...
