One of the other lists I belong to, said they had a clutch explosion during
a vintage car race. The car had a blanket rather than a steel scatter sheild
and the car was damaged quite severely. Apparently it was installed wrong.
So if you have one of these doo-hickeys as a flywheel sheild, please look
over you installation. Inspection might save your toes....and ankles....
