Hi JIm,
I use Castrol Syntec motor oil 5W-50 and 6 ounces of Pro-Blend Pro Tuff
Gear Lube.
Gear teeth are polished and smooth and the rear is barely warm to the touch
after a pass.
Rear is 9" Ford.
I use the same thing in all racing manual drivetrain applications, QC
(front drive) included. I use an auto trans so just use Pro-Blend Trans
Cool in it with the ATF. No wear anywhere. All runs cool.
