I'm going to cut mine an 1 1/2" in a few days, it's laminated, I'll let you
know how they did it.

I've seen windshields cut for chopped tops by
masking along both sides of the cut with heavy
tape, then using high pressure sand blasting to
erode the glass between the lines.
