I'm looking at a vehicle for my daughter. Small
block Chevy (350) stock (1977) with 2bbl,
converted to 700R4 or whatever the new OD tranny
is. The motor sounds good at idle to half
throttle. Once it goes past half, it pops back
through the carb. Not a real backfire, just a
rapid pop,pop,pop like a 9mm Uzi. What do I got
here? Some burned valves?
