It would appear that I was wrong that Lousie's posting regarding Paula was
a call for recognition of a women's LSR class. 

If it isn't, then why should the Bonneville 200mph club be crticised as a
body for not recognising the "contribution" of a drag racer?  Shouldn't
that recognition be the role of the NHRA?

Paula Murphy visited the UK with the Funny Car she then drove to allow us
Brits to see top class AA/FCs run and to establish this class of racing -
that has diminished once again.
