Hay, Paul -- did I tell you that Superglue helps cracked fingers?
I've put up with cracked fingertips for years -- lotion and other goo just
doesn't cope with the cold dry weather up here. Last month I finally tired
superglue on the cracked skin and I found that it works just dandy.
I was sorta scary that I'd suffer from "chemical" ouchiness if I used the
stuff, but I only had to endure some discomfort as the glue dried and moved
things into their new places. No chemical sting, no chemical sting, no
chemical sting (I tell you three times). I and Nancy expected the worst, it
didn't happen. The glue set within an hour or less, and after three or four
days the glue wore off and new skin had started growing. In the meantime
the glue kept my fingertips from hurting every time I touched something -
and also held things in place while some new skin grew.
Don't be afraid to use superglue to hold yourself in place.
Don't put it on, fresh, however, before greeting your honeybunch at bedtime.
Some things need to be left to the imagination of spectators. . .
