The land speed racing world has lost another long time racer and supporter.
E.E. (Els) Lohn was a racer and a Manufacturer of Accessories and speed
equipment(EELCO) . He ran a small streamliner and held many records in the
50s & 60s on the Bonneville Salt Flats
The WEE-EEL ll. ran in G & H class. Some may remember Els as the man that
made the bullet hole & bear foot decals seen on many vehicles.
