Let's stop the confusion . . .
The State Line Inn (the old motel where the SCTA crowd stays) was sold to
Steve Perry who also owns another motel down the street.
I was contacted about the Chapter 11 announcement by one of the executives who
tells me they are grateful for the situation as it will free them to realign
the debt structure to focus on new projects. One of those projects is updating
the 2nd floor lobbies of the convention center to reflect the current view of
LSR. I am in the middle of the project and hope to get in done by Speedweek.
The State Line Hotel and Casino and the Silver Smith will remain in the hands
of the Smith family as it has since 1929.
