Allen,
I use the narrowest rim that's recommended for the particular tire. If
you go narrower the tire will peel off of the rim sooner in the event of a
spin. If you go wider it messes up the tread profile of the tire, as well as
presenting a wider (more wind resistance) area of drag................Ardun
