Just to add to what Chuck said. On Sunday Steve Knecum went 234 MPH on a
blown Hayabusa. That's the fastest run ever at Maxton, beating Joe Laws old
record by 2 MPH, and perhaps the fastest street bike ever, which I think was
233 MPH. Not sure how it compares to any non-streamliner records at
Bonneville, but this was an awusum run with the bike smoking the tire from
the start to the finish.
