Howdy,
I still am kinda able to run my bike on the road, when it runs,
ifn I don't get caught, but....during the off season, or when it is not
ready for the road, my bike is covered for replacement cost, for fire and
theft and I think transporting, ( hmmm I should check this out) and this
insurance costs $19/yr. I get to chose the replacement cost too.
         state farm ins.
1967 BSA Victor, and as I still have all the receipts for all the
work and parts (right now I'm at around 6500$), I can verify the
replacement cost, and are they gonna be in for a surprise!!! I have not had
any difficulty with this insurance co., had a small steam engine stolen
while it was here at work, got an estimate for replacement value, and got
3200$ for it, had hail damage to the roof of both the house and garage, and
got a complete replacement including new 1/2 inch decking underneath, value
12,000$ and no problem there either. the guy was out with a check the next
week....also, do a search in the archives, I seem to remember a thread on
insurance there.....bout two years ago.
