Took the roadster to El Mirage again this time with all 4 speeds working.
Didn't result in the blindingly fast speeds I expected. It did go 106
on last months 104 record so that's good. Jack Costalla is now a member of the
Century club for 100 mph+ flathead fours. I think he would have gone much
faster but Jack is not used to seeing where he is going and the sight of all
that lake bed passing by disoriented him. Rich Fox
