Hi Folks, just wanted to invite your attention to some outstanding
records just set at Bonneville by some of our ECTA racers at the meet on
right now.
Congratulations to Willie Glass on his new record in Ardun Gas Roadster
at 184.627. This is a tremendous speed for an unblown gas Ardun
blunt-nose Model A roadster. Willie raised the old record from just
last year by about 7 mph, which takes a lot of horsepower in that speed
range.
Congratulations also to McMeekin Bros for their new record of 215.370
with the little red Monza. They've worked very hard on that car, and it
goes like the wind. Nicest fellas you'd ever want to meet, too!
