 Disqualification???? Naahhh. Too many things to enforce now. This is
supposed to be a fun time. Everybody just needs to be aware that the goal
is to get to the return road (or past it like (rookie, I might add) WmTS
did consistantly in my car). If you get halfway, where the banners are for
USFRA that should be good enough. 
If we can calm down enough after the run to be considerate of the guy/gal
in the hot firesuit/cockpit on the line I think that it would help
immeasurably. As you suggest equipment breakage is another matter entirely.
Just an old observer (62 in April) and used-to-be driver.....maybe ag'in? (-:
