For such a grumpy rascal you sure write a nice tribute.
I read your tribute to Bob Higbee on the SCTA site and reread it in the Jan. 03
Straightaway News. I will forever cherish my rookie season runs by having Bob
check my harness on two for my record runs--it brought such a flood of memories
of all of the old dreams based on Hot Rod articles I read as a kid growing up
in Texas. I was so happy that I got to tell him so in person this year at the
200 Club banquet.
Thanks again for all that you and all of your fellow volunteers do. wmts
