After she had been kidnapped in the middle of the night some nine months
ago, Elizabeth Smart was found today in the company of a religious "nut" as
described by his mother-in-law. Press conferences, blue and yellow balloons
and blue ribbons all around their neighborhood. The local TV stations have
had non-stop coverage since around 3:00 this afternoon. She and the two
people she was with were dressed in white garb, he was spotted from pictures
shown on local TV stations last month. Two couples called police a minute
apart around 1:00 to report sightings.
My daughter Paige spent several days last June assisting in the search for
her immediately after the abduction.
Consensus opinion is that miracles DO happen. She is apparently uninjured.
