Is a pushrod engine forced into a pushrod engine class?

If a motorcycle engine is legal for the pushrod class, does 
it *have* to run in that class?

Could it run it APS-G and/or APS-PG?  Or because it is legal 
as a pushrod engine, is it forced to the pushrod class only?
