I haven't acutally used Forward Air, but they sure quote good prices for
moving motorcycles around. As I remember, it was about $275 to air mail the
bike, in my crate, from Sand Diego airport to Chicago airport. Pick up and
delivery -- and their crate -- available at extra charge.

I've heard good things about their service, too. go to forwardair.com and
click around for a quote.

List,
I had a bit of a conflict with UPS today; I guess they were right, but
boy
they are surly (they need a strong competitor).
Anyway, a friend reports great success with an outfit called Forward
Air.
They transported a crated 600 lb. engine between airports in Tennessee and
Arizona for not much more than $200. They're a national outfit, too.
