that is my guess (all the teams try to keep their current ideas secret, of
course).  Some teams are also using little aero "kickers" ("strakes"--??)
(attached to the mid-body) that appear (from their angles) to be for the
purpose of increasing air flow on the bottom (curved side) of the wing.

flow with the exhaust-- although the exhaust was at the end of the underbody
"tunnel", and not in the "blown wing" configuration that you have described
previously.

Is it possible that current F1 configurations with the exhaust exiting on
top
of the body infront of the rear wing are an attempt to acheive the same
thing?
