The classic category does not allow for the competitor who wants to run a
235 Chevy, or a Chrysler six or any of many Vintage engines, all of which
have to run in a 325 inch class.

Rich,
I believe that you're referring to the prohibition against running a
vintage engine (X Series) in a modern engine class such as "E". The 258ci GMC
would be forced to run XO instead of "E".
