We have had Upper Michigan type snow for the last twenty four hours ... much
wetter and heavier than the usual Utah Powder. We'll take it. We need the
moisture. The mountains around the salt flats have been hit hard and that's
a good thing. We have about 10" on the ground here at the house. The
airport is reporting 6" and the watershed in our mountains should get about
three feet out of this storm before it is finished. I added 45 minutes to
my seat time, driving in snowy, miserable weather, taking the kids to the
airport this morning

Just reading about the mudslides in Southern California. Hope all our
friends are safe down in the areas that were hit so hard by the fires.
