No John they don't see the vibration of a race car.... as race cars only run
for limited amounts of time..... those poor Aircraft see much more vibration
for really extended periods of time.... so in answer to your question ...
will a cherry pop work the answer is a resounding yes... should you bondo
them and the answer is a definite NO.... as if you do you might not see a
working rivet...( one that gets loose and leaves the black graphite around
it )

If you want to paint it you should use real rivets that are hammered or
bucked into place...  if it's a blind hole... obviously the Cherry pop is
the best alternative..

Keith ( I flew a Cobra with a 20mm cannon under it's wing on a range for a
week and when we were done we replaced 112 rivets in the verticle stabilizer
alone ) countless others on the rest of the tail boom )
