Body armor

The new ECTA rulebook arrived in Marquette yesterday, and I see there's
now a requirement for body armor for bike riders over 175 MPH. I've
never had armor, and wonder if someone more versed will explain whether
regular armor such as Bohn or Knox is appropriate. "Elbows, shoulders,
knees, hips, and back" coverage is mandated -- my leathers have already
shrunk (no snickering here, please) to the point where I've gotta send
them in for some resizing -- and might as well make room for the armor,
too. But I want to make sure I've got the right idea about the armor
and how much room to allow for it.

No SCTA rules here yet -- anybody got a lead on whether that
organisation will require armor, too? I'd hate to order stuff that
won't fit the requirement for one but not the other.

166" of snow so far this season -- but heat wave today (35F forecasted)
might get rid of some of it.
