I used to work for a Pontiac dealer in the Bronx. One of the mechanics was
from Haiti and he used to work on diesels back in Haiti and then in Florida.
We are talking both Cruise ships and over the road trucks. This guy swore up
and down that Cummins was the best. He was a funny guy and often times moody,
but if you spoke about diesels he perked right up. He was said he would
rather work on trucks than cars, not enough room even back in the 70's. Guess
he
is retired now, hope so, as cars have shrunk quite a bit since then! LOL
