Dan your concerns are well warranted... there were some issues with thier
first meet... they have now created 2 entry levels... one is a street car
class and one is an LSR class... they called me last night to see if I could
help them set up the rules for the LSR side... Which will be timed with a
132' timing trap.
To me its an opportunity to have another venue to race at... The course is
awesome from what Dave Frieburger said when I talked to him in November...
BUT the rules side of it was totally lacking...
My advice was to do it JUST like the SCTA... follow success... but modify it
a bit to be like Maxton to a degree....
I'm not sure my race car will be ready... but as far as safety is concerned
they are well prepared... they have everything down to and including a jaws
of life.... and helicopters on standby....
They seem to be total rookies at LSR... BUT they mean well... and that
deserves some help in the right direction.... This could be our place to
have the East Vs West 1 mile Concrete meet.
