what is the tensile strength of mild steel per sq inch??
you have almost .5 q inches of it with a 0.312 fastener.
i will bet it is better than 20000 lbs per sq inch..with 2 bolts you ought
to have plenty.
What is not said is the small piece of time when the chute deploys and goes
from 0 g pull to 2.3 there is a small point in time when it is a lot more
than 2.3 G..
