There used to be a local shop Danbury Centerless Gringing that could hold 
super tolerances on parts. Never did see the process in motion, there is one of 
their mechines in the Smithsonian. Looked somewhat loke a rollon dyno, wonder 
if you could attach grinding disks to a rollon and grind tires? Bob in
