Since I asked the original questions...
Thanks for all the replies on the sizing systems, I didn't know it was such a
mess, plus the specter
of previous owners drilling out or modifying jets.
So, the bottom line is I bought two sets of pin gages, and I'll go about seeing
just what sizes
these jets really are.
What started all of this was working on bike that is running too rich at WOT,
the pilot jets seem OK
as is the rest of the system, yet the main jets are marked with a size that
should be WAY too lean.
