Yep Joe your right... Dave Dahlgren gets a ton of credit for making all of
this happen...
Tonya made one check out pass... then on the next two passes set a record of
241.414mph on a 223 record
David made exactly 2 pass's and set a record of 243.015mph on a 225 two club
minimum and a 224 record
Ted Wenz got his lic pass's and then blistered a 221 record with two pass's
in excess of 253mph... but he didn't qualify for the record due to the paper
work issues... nothing to do with performance... and all of this was
Dahlgrens tuning on the Modified sports and suspension set up on the
Camaro.. ( Freiburger had a handle on the Camaro's engine tuning )
So to Dave's credit.. we had one hell of a speedweek.. for the most part.
