Thanks to everyone that replied. I still am not sure what tire I was
looking at on the salt. On our last run at Speedweek, the left rear tire
had a cord about 6 inches long let loose across the tread portion of
the tire. I had to get busy and find some tires if I am going to run the
World of Speed. I have already ordered the 2204's which are wider than I
wanted, but the other choice is on a 4.5 inch rim and I don't like that
idea either. I will just see what I have when the tires arrive. I have
found spacers available to get clearance if needed.
