Just more fuel for the fire. About 20/25 years ago I helped a
friend/painter, Lil' John Harvey, run his 1958 Corvette called "Bad Moon
Ris'n" if any of you remember. He was able to run it as a GT with a Big
Block Chevrolet for power. It didn't go fast enough for him so he put
in a KB and ran as a Modified Sports. He never reached the goal his was
looking for but none the less that's the classes he was allowed to
run....During that time frame was when the big block was allowed to be
in a GT car even though it did not come in it originally. If I remember
right he ran it without the top and windshield in MS....JD
