Subject: New Questions

All,
Thanks for the welcome.

I have 2 questions. The first regarding a source to weld up a cage for our
truck somewhere around Maryland-Virginia-lower PA area? I saw delaware
chassis works in the rulebook- they are a bit far to take the truck. I do
not trust my welding skills after 20 years of inactivity nor the skills of
my 17 year old from his welding class.

The other regards tire choice - We are going to be running below 130-140.
Plan on running Maxton and maybe Bonneville. I read about racers using V-Z
class tires at Maxton. My point is keeping the costs down a little bit by
picking up 1 set of tires for both locations. So what would be reccomended?
Drag Front Runners or typical v-z type tires?

Thanks
