Contrary to some LSR-List concern earlier this year Goodyear is making 50
sets of tires. I just got off the phone with Roger Kraus @ Roger Kraus
Racing, (510-582-5031) regarding my tire order. I ordered two Goodyear p/n
2286 (28 x 4.5-15) and two p/n 2284 (25 x 4.5-15). My 2886 tires have
arrived and the 2284s are due in this Friday. However, I will not be needing
the two 2284s because I am switching cars & class.
If you are worried about tires. . . Goodyear is shipping now. Roger suggests
that once the 50-set production lot is sold Goodyear most likely will not do
a run again until next year. Roger is a great guy. . . give him a call if
you would like my two 2284s. All tire dimensions are listed on the Goodyear
web site. I do NOT know what sizes and quantities are included in their
