Lets continue that logic and shit can a couple thousand classes....

how many vintage 2 wheeled streamliner sidecars are there running
do they warrant having the class for the "long haul"

how many vintage cars and engines were designed and 
marketed for highperformance and racing??

and those damn diesels arent they marketed and sold for economy
how dare them consider them race worthy??

how many racing geo metro's must be see each year, they are marketed
with economy and environmental savings, not performance, get rid of them

and on and on and on..........
