There has been some chatter on the list about this raceway located
about 40 miles from downtown Salt Lake City. This article gives a date
for another update session. The first phase is supposed to open in
September or early October. They are paving the first half of the
track and buildings are going up for permanent storage of race cars.

There's always descriptions of the "first" Cobra but rarely is the name
of the actual man who put the engine in that AC Ace body ever revealed,
the late Bonneville record holder Fred Larsen. If you are familiar
with the Larsen/Cummins #115 streamliner you just know how nice that
installation was on that first Cobra.
Larry's General Manager and Corporate Attorney were coming to World of
Speed last year and then a meeting was scheduled that cancelled those
plans. I'll keep working to get them onto the salt. Few people in the
car business are "car guys".
