I just got in last night. Went from Columbus, Ohio, to Los Angeles, CA.
Left Columbus Monday, and drove down through St. Louis, and came across
Interstate 40 home. Cheapest we found gas on Monday and Tuesday was $2.52 a
gallon. Wenesday it was like a rocket ship. In the morning we paid $2.71 at
noon we paid $3.06 and as we were getting gas the price went up to $3.16.
Thursday it seemed to settle around the $3.00 mark. Here at home I can get gas
for $2.86. On the trip I saw Diesel as high as $3.30 a gallon. The further
west we came the more prices seemed to settle down.
