Hi John, I'm glad you stated that a barrel  of oil is 43 Gallons.  Many 
people think  
that a barrel of oil is 55 gallons, as I did for many years, but ' not so  ' 
in the US 
petroleum business ...... Being global in nature, I would guess that other  
nations
utilize their metric system in the import / export and sale of their  
petroleum among
themselves ?   I never thought about that before or checked it  out ........
