A bit of a long shot but a friend is currently working
on a belly tank build using an F86 Sabre tank and is
looking for any
information on the VW tank pictured in the Noeth book.
(I can't remember the page number but I could get it
when I get home). The car over here is being built to
current MSA drag regulations which I'm pretty sure are
the same as NHRA and I think is looking for a 7.90 (I
think that's the next increment after 9.90?) ticket
for the chassis. There aren't too many tanks over here
to take a look at, anyone got any pictures of that
kind of build in a tank body that they wouldn't mind
sharing? When you stand next to the tank it looks a
bit small!
The idea is to have something different to run at the
drags but proper use of it is a possibility...
