The biggest enemy's of a tire in storage are,
1) Ultraviolet light
2) Oxygen
3) Heat
If I had irreplaceable MT Bonneville tires, I would never put oxygen
and nitrogen (air) them, I'd use only dry nitrogen, 20 PSI for storage,
wrap them in three layers of freezer paper and store them in a meat
locker at -20 to -40 Fahrenheit. That temperature will radically slow down
the chemical reactions that destroy stored tires.
